  1. Question:    In 2005, total bankruptcy filings exceed the number of birth in which 6 states?
  2. Question: What state had the highest number of bankruptcy case filings 24 of the Capturelast 25 years?
  3. Question: Which state had the highest bankruptcy filing rate relative to population 21 of the last 25 years?
  4. Question: Which state had the lowest bankruptcy filing rate relative to population 18 of the last 25 years?

#1 – Answer:      Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee.   This was the result of the new legislation in 2005 (BAPCPA surge in case filing.   The only other instances of filing exceeded births in a state were Tennessee (2002 & 2003) and Nevada (2009 and 2010).Capture

#2- Answer:    California – The only exception was in 2006, when filings in Georgia were higher.

#3- Answer:    Tennessee
